! Join us in Orlando as the pediatric surgery community comes together to explore the latest techniques, advances, trends and equipment for pediatric surgery. Network with colleagues from around the nation and beyond at the many social events, and plan to bring the family for fun at Universal Studios and more! Innovative presentations and lectures are being planned for the 2010 meeting. In response to member input, this meeting will open on Sunday and run through Wednesday to allow more family and social time. The President’s Reception and Banquet will be held Tuesday evening, with a session continuing on Wednesday morning. Our host hotel, the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando, is a family-friendly venue with immediate access to Universal Studios and Sea World. The Disney Parks are a short 20-minute drive from the hotel. It
offers the sights and sounds of the Italian Riviera with the European
luxury of elegant guest rooms and a host of resort activities, from
swimming pool to spa to golf. Loews guests also benefit from exclusive

Education Day Topics
NEW- COG Oncology Education Session - This new cancer session will consist of interactive presentations that will provide practical updates on surgical guidelines, outcomes and current protocols for pediatric solid tumors. Rotating topics annually, this year’s session will focus on current therapy for renal and liver tumors, with an emphasis on surgical management and treatment algorithms.
Pediatric Surgery Case Debates and Controversies - This program session will include the presentation of a number of pediatric general surgery cases that have some degree of controversy in their evaluation and management. The audience will be able to participate in the session by answering questions embedded throughout the case presentations via an interactive audience response system that will provide instant group feedback. In addition, there will be opportunity for audience members to openly discuss the cases.
NEW! APSA/IPEG Advanced Neonatal Endoscopic Techniques- This new workshop will feature minimally invasive surgical training, as well as an off-site demonstration. Registration is limited and will be separate. (Session full, but waitlist now available.)
New Technology Session - The new technology session will feature abstracts on new and innovative techniques and procedures that are not yet mainstream. These abstracts will provide members with a snapshot of the cutting edge developments being pursued in our field.
