Companion Program

If you're planning to join your APSA member for fun and sun in Palm Springs, California, the Companion Program helps to make the most of your stay. Advance online registration closed April 16You can still sign up for the Companion Program on site in Palm Desert beginning Wednesday, May 2, at 3:00 p.m.

Companion Program

Location: JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort
Cost: $290 on or before March 2, 2018; $340 after March 2 and on site in Palm Springs.

Connect with others, see old friends and make new ones. In addition to a complimentary ticket to the Welcome Reception and to the President’s Reception and Banquet, the Companion Program includes exclusive access to a Companion Hospitality Room Thursday through Saturday, 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. A continental breakfast (a $45/day value!) will be served each day and a professional concierge will be on hand to assist companions with making plans in the Palm Springs area. Registered companions must present their badge for admittance.

Share the stories you cherish and see what other companions have loved reading. Pass along some of your favorite actual books – or just the titles – and maybe you'll get a recommendation that leads you to a new author, series or genre. It will conclude with a brief meeting to discuss ideas and suggestions for future companion programs.

Annual Fundraiser Benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities© Southern California

It's a tradition for APSA to help the local Ronald McDonald House. Please donate generously to help the children and families who come to the Ronald McDonald House Charities© Southern California, the beneficiary of this year's fundraiser. Donations can be made during online registration, and look for the collection bins at the the APSA registration desk and at the hospitality breakfasts when on site in Palm Desert. Thank you for making a big difference in little lives!

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California includes six Ronald McDonald Houses the local area; two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at CHOC Children's Hospital in Orange and CHOC Children's at Mission Hospital; and they are also one of very few Ronald McDonald House Charities chapters across the world that operates a cost-free, medically-supervised Camp for children with cancer and their families, Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times.
